My Day at Professional Beauty London 2016!

So yesterday was the day I travelled with my blogger and makeup artiste friend Cheryl to Professional Beauty London 2016!

Whilst I was there I came across some amazing brands that I got products from that I will be talking about in the coming few posts as I was impressed by all of them, and everyone was so lovely!

One of the first companies I came across was Glitter Lips by Beauty Boulevard, who were selling glitter pigments for as little as £1.20 each! The colours were amazing, ranging from pinks to blues to gold! It was so overwhelming! - I mean, look at these (insert heart eyes emoji :D)

One of the other stand out areas of the event was the Vanity LDN shop, where you could buy gorgeous vanity cases, as well as lipstick holders (that spin!) and acrylic drawers, at such a good price (website is at the bottom of the post).

Whilst I was in the Bloggers lounge I was approached by some lovely ladies who told me about their new product called Foot Fetiche, which is a set to help with feet care, inside the set there is a heel resistance cream, a "scrub sensation", a foot relief cream and a nail shine cream. The set also includes a foot massager, which could be taken as something else... haha! The lovely ladies told me that Superdrug has recently ordered stock of the set so it will be available in stores soon! from what I can remember it is retailed at £48, which is a small price to pay for a good quality set, but I will keep you updated for reviews and first impressions!

After all of that the best part of my day was meeting the owner of this amazing brand called "head to toe", this brand creates organic and natural oils that you can use for pretty much anything, I have some of the coconut oil on my hands now and it feels amazing, again ill link the website on the bottom!

The final stand out part of my day was when this lovely lady came over and offered me a full day spa treatment before my flight to Portugal in June! I will be vlogging the whole holiday on my youtube which should be up and running very soon so stay tuned for that!

Overall I had a brilliant time talking to brands and discovering some new and exciting products coming onto the market very soon, so I have so much to write about!
That's all for today! See you soon!
I also took a few more photos during my day there so look below to see, I have also linked all of my social media accounts and websites to get these products!

Budget to High End Foundations!

Hey Guys!

So today I thought I would tell you about my 5 most recommended foundations, going from budget to high end!

Having a good foundation is the key to having a flawless look for your makeup, and there are many different types of foundations to go with your skin type.

Finding the right shade for your skin is also very important if you want your makeup too look natural and that your face actually looks part of your body! if you fake tan every now and again it is probably a good idea to buy multiple shades to ensure that you have a foundation that will match even when you tan.

So lets start with my current everyday foundation! This is the L'Oreal True Match Foundation, it is described on the bottle as super-blend able which I do think it lives up to, it also feels very lightweight on your skin which is good if you are wearing contour and other products on your skin as well! I would say that this foundation would be brilliant on normal to dry skin as it easily fills in gaps and is very hydrating on the skin.
It also says that it perfectly matches your skin's colour and texture which I think is a brilliant aspect of the product as it mean that if you buy the wrong shade (by around 2 shades darker or lighter) it should adapt to the correct shade! Maybe something I should try?

True Match is available from any drugstore from around £9.99

Next I have the L'Oreal Infallible 24hr Stay Fresh Foundation!
on the packaging it says that it gives the skin a flawless complexion and I do agree with this! The product also has a very good feel that stops it from feeling like a mask and it makes your face feel very weightless! The only problem some of you guys may have with the foundation is that there are lots of orange undertones in the product, so definitely check the tester in store, even if you know what shade you buy from L'Oreal as it does vary between ranges!

L'Oreal Infallible Foundation is available from any drugstore from around £9.99

The third foundation I want to share with you guys is the Natural Collection Foundation
This is a very good foundation for someone who wants medium coverage with normal or combination skin, so if you have oily or dry skin, this product may not be for you.
What I like about this foundation is that it is fragrance free, meaning it isn't very harsh on your skin, so for all you girls with spot-prone skin this is a good product at a very good price!

Natural Collection Colour Foundation is available at Boots only at £1.99

My final drugstore foundation is MUA Matte Perfect Foundation
This foundation would be perfect for someone who likes a very matte finish on their skin, as it has very good shine control that lasts for ages, so no need to keep re-applying powder all day!
This foundation would also be great for oily skin types as it keeps the shine down to a minimum which is what you want! It is also very affordable and you get lots of product for your money

MUA Matte Perfect Foundation is available at any drug store at around £2

The final foundation I want to share with you guys is the well-known MAC Pro Long wear Foundation!
This Foundation is brilliant for a full-coverage look, I almost always wear it on my night out as it stays on for hours! It doesn't budge!
Personal proof that this foundation is brilliant is that I cried when it was on my face and I didn't get the typical tear marks left on your face!
There's not much to say with this product as it does exactly what you would want from a MAC product, good quality, works well with other products and studio-wearable!

MAC Pro Long wear Foundation is available at any store that stocks MAC at around £25.50

So that's all for my recommended foundations!
I hope you guys enjoyed my post and come back for more soon!

ELF Liquid Lipstick Swatches and Review!

Hey Guys!

So the other day I got an exciting delivery, which was my ELF Liquid lipstick collection!
Personally I love ELF's products as i already have the contour kit which has become a staple in my makeup collection, and at such a good price I thought I would do a quick test of their Liquid lipstick collection!

The collection consists of 7 different shades ranging from nudes to darker, more berry colours. ELF describes the product as intensive hydrating, with a long lasting colour.

Here are the lipsticks!

As you can see the colour range isn't that different, with most of them being more neutral shades, so this collection would be perfect for someone who prefers a more neutral look on their lips.

So Baby Lips didn't really impress me, I felt that the shade was very watered down, but the gloss finish that it creates looks incredible, and the case is the same for all of the colours.

Pink Lemonade was one of my favourites as it had the perfect balance between a neutral shade and a pink, I think that this would look amazing with a good lip liner around it, perfect for any skin tone as well!

Cherry Tart was probably my number one shade of them all, I was pleasantly surprised by the pigment in it compared to the price, so this is one that I will be wearing more often than the others.

Ruby Slipper was a shade that you are either gonna love or hate. The extra gloss finish with this colour looks amazing but can also look very wet. But still a lovely shade for all you girls who love a good pink!

Raspberry was also one that I loved again, due to the pigment. My only complaint about this shade is that it is not very long wearing as I was constantly re-applying whilst wearing it.

Strawberry was in my mind the worst one of them all, it wasn't very long wearing at all and I didn't find it very wearable, perhaps it would look good with a neutral looking face for a school look or something but for a night out this would be a no-no.

Nude Pink didn't sit well on my lips, on my full face it didn't look quite right and I think this is due to the fact that I have a warm toned face with brown hair, so this maybe would look much better on lighter skin tones wit blonde hair.

As you can see from this picture, you do not get lots of product in the lipstick. This is probably down to the fact that it is so cheap and that they believe that you do not need lots of product for it to look good.

Overall I would say that what you pay is what you get with these lipsticks, some shades you'll love, some shades you'll hate, and I really hope that ELF bring out more colours in the range like some more reds and berry tones.

That's all for today!
